This page compares uplads and Pipeboard (pipeboard.co) as of 6 November 2026. Pipeboard's facts come from its pricing page, its product pages, its Meta partner page and the README of its meta-ads-mcp repository on GitHub. Where Pipeboard does not state something, we write "not stated". The feature matrix is factual. The verdict is our opinion, and we build one of the two products. For the wider field, our guide to the best ads MCP servers compares nine.
What each tool is, in one paragraph
uplads is a bulk ad launch platform built inside an Austrian performance marketing agency. You load creatives from your computer, the media library, Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io or existing posts, pick or create the ad sets, write the copy and launch to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat and LinkedIn. After the launch come an Ads Manager per network, automated rules on all five, an AI Optimizer and creative analytics on Meta.
Its MCP connector (Beta, on every plan) puts Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code into the same workspace: the assistant imports creatives from Dropbox or Drive links, reads the Brand Context before writing copy, builds campaigns paused, stages launch drafts and manages what already runs. Pricing in EUR from 69€ a month.
Pipeboard describes itself as the connection layer between your AI assistant and the ad platforms. The homepage headline is about managing Facebook ads from Claude and ChatGPT, and the hero names Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads. You connect your ad accounts, then ask in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n or Codex, and Pipeboard calls the platform APIs. Product pages cover campaigns (reports, budget shifts and bulk updates by asking), creatives (bulk uploads and variations) and a library of prompts for audits and launches.
The Meta server is source-available on GitHub with 1.4k stars, runs hosted at meta-ads.mcp.pipeboard.co and needs your own Meta developer app if you run it locally. Pipeboard says it is a badged Meta Business Partner with Standard access to the official Google Ads API, and estimates more than $1.2B a month of ad spend across connected accounts. Pricing in US dollars from $0, paid plans from $29.90 a month.

Pipeboard's pricing page lists four self-serve plans. Free costs nothing and includes 30 AI tool executions a week, 2 ad account slots, batch creative uploads of 10 and API access, but no duplication of campaigns, ad sets or ads, no carousels and no bulk operations. Pro costs $29.90 a month for unlimited executions, 3 slots, duplication, carousels and permission-scoped tokens. Premium costs $99 for 10 slots, bulk operations, batches of 100 and up to 5 team accounts. Agency costs $199 for 25 slots, per-account token scoping, team access controls and unlimited team accounts.
A slot is one ad account the assistant can act on, counted on Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn; GA4, Search Console, Merchant Center, Google Drive and Dropbox connect without one. Extra slots cost $10 a month on paid plans. Annual billing saves 17% and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of the trial. Pro and Premium have a 7-day free trial, Agency a 7-day money-back guarantee, and a custom Secure Enterprise contract adds SAML SSO, security reviews, a DPA and audit-log export.
uplads lists Starter at 69€ a month for 2 ad accounts on Meta and one seat, Growth at 199€ for 5 ad accounts and 5 seats with TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, the AI Optimizer, scheduled launches and automated rules, and Agency at 499€ for 15 ad accounts and 15 seats. Extra ad accounts cost 39€ a month, yearly billing gives two months free, and prices are net of VAT. The MCP connector is included in every plan. The full breakdown is on the uplads pricing page.
What that means in practice:
- Trying it out: Pipeboard's free plan runs as long as you like within 30 executions a week. uplads gives one 7-day trial on Growth limits, then a paid plan.
- One person, two Meta accounts: $0 or $29.90 on Pipeboard, 69€ on uplads Starter.
- Ten ad accounts, five people: $99 on Pipeboard Premium. On uplads, Growth plus five extra accounts comes to 394€.
- Twenty-five ad accounts: $199 on Pipeboard Agency. uplads Agency plus ten extra accounts comes to 889€, with 15 seats.
Pipeboard costs less at every size, and we will not pretend otherwise. The prices also measure different things. Pipeboard prices the connector: executions, slots and batch sizes. The uplads price covers a launcher your team uses with or without an assistant, an Ads Manager on five networks, automated rules, the AI Optimizer and per-member permissions, with the MCP connector on top.

The connector rows are close: both run hosted, sign in with OAuth and create new structure paused. The launcher, rules and spending limits belong to uplads; price, self-hosting, analytics connections and the API belong to Pipeboard.
Two ways to put an assistant in an ad account
Pipeboard's Meta server creates campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives, uploads images, updates ads, ad sets and creatives, and sets budgets. Its create tools default to paused, and the README describes the server as working with explicit confirmation on every write. Access is set with tokens: read-only tokens for reporting, permission-scoped tokens from Pro, per-account scoping and team access controls on Agency. The README lists separate hosted servers for Google Ads and TikTok under the same Pipeboard login, and the homepage says capabilities vary by platform.
The uplads connector puts the assistant in front of the launcher your team already uses. It imports creatives from Dropbox or Drive links, builds campaigns and ad sets paused, and stages a launch draft on any of the five networks. A person opens the draft in uplads, checks the ads and presses Launch. On what already runs, the assistant changes status, budgets, bids, names and copy, duplicates, sets up rules and runs Optimize audits. See what the assistant can do for the full list.
The spending rules are the same on every network. Pausing, lowering a budget and tightening a bid need no permission. Switching something on, raising a budget or loosening a bid needs the workspace's Autonomous launching switch, a daily budget ceiling that adds up every call on every network, and an explicit yes in the chat. Every action lands in the audit log, marked as coming from MCP.
Where uplads wins
Bulk launching, with or without the chat. Pipeboard's plans allow batch creative uploads of 10, or 100 on Premium and Agency. uplads is a launcher first: drag in up to 500 creatives, let multi-placement grouping turn the 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 sizes of one idea into one ad, apply a naming template and launch. Media buyers who never open Claude work in the same screen the assistant fills.
A review step before anything goes live. An assistant connected to uplads stages new ads as a draft. A person opens it, changes two headlines if needed and presses Launch. Spend can only go up under the workspace switch, the daily ceiling and an explicit yes, and the ceiling counts every network together. We found no comparable spending limit on Pipeboard's pages.
Rules that run without a prompt. Pipeboard's prompt library helps you ask for audits and budget suggestions; we found no automated rules on its pages. uplads rules run on Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat and LinkedIn as often as every 30 minutes, pause, reactivate or move budgets inside a floor and ceiling, and alert by email, Slack or ClickUp. The AI Optimizer ranks findings and applies only what a person approves.
Five live networks, Snapchat and LinkedIn included. Pipeboard's homepage names Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, and notes that its guides include preview platforms. In uplads all five networks are live for every customer on Growth and Agency, with Google covering Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube video and App campaigns, and each network has its own Ads Manager.
Permissions per team member. Pipeboard has no team accounts on Free and Pro and adds team access controls on Agency. uplads Growth includes 5 members and Agency 15, each with their own permissions for ad accounts, Pages, edit rights and spend, and every write action lands in an audit log.
Let an assistant stage your next launch
The 7-day trial runs on Growth limits without a credit card: connect Claude or ChatGPT, have it stage a launch draft on Meta and TikTok, and launch it yourself in uplads.
Where Pipeboard wins, honestly
Price and a free start. A free plan, Pro at $29.90 and 25 ad accounts for $199 on Agency. uplads costs more at every size and has no free plan.
Code you can read and host. The Meta server is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1, converting to Apache 2.0 on 1 January 2029, and runs locally with your own Meta developer app. uplads is closed source and hosted only.
More data next to the ads. GA4, Search Console and Merchant Center connect without using a slot, and Pipeboard links guides for Microsoft Ads, Pinterest and Reddit. uplads connects no analytics or search data and does not launch on Pinterest, Microsoft Ads or Reddit.
Built for automation tools. n8n is among Pipeboard's listed clients, and API access sits in every plan. uplads has no public API; its MCP connector is the route for assistants and scripts.
Enterprise paperwork. Secure Enterprise adds SAML SSO, security reviews, a DPA and an audit-log export on a custom annual contract.
Which one fits your team
Pipeboard fits a marketer or developer who works in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor all day, wants the assistant to read and change campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, starts free or at $29.90, and is fine confirming changes in the chat. It also fits a team that wants to host the Meta server itself.
uplads fits a team that launches creatives in bulk every week, ships the same batch to more than one of Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat and LinkedIn, wants rules watching the accounts when nobody is in a chat, and wants an assistant to prepare launches that a person reviews in the app. The Meta Ads MCP and Google Ads MCP pages show what the assistant does per network, and uplads vs Ads Uploader covers a Meta launcher that also ships its own MCP.
What uplads does not do, said plainly
uplads has no free plan: it starts with a 7-day trial and then 69€ a month for two Meta accounts. Its code is closed and the connector is hosted only. It does not connect GA4, Search Console or Merchant Center, and it does not launch on Pinterest, Microsoft Ads or Reddit. There is no public API. Seats are capped at 1, 5 and 15, and Starter is Meta only.
Verdict
Pick uplads if your team launches creatives in bulk and wants rules, an Ads Manager and a review step before an assistant's work goes live. Pick Pipeboard if you want the lowest-priced way to put Claude or ChatGPT on your ad accounts, or code you can host.
Both connect an AI assistant to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. Pipeboard has the lower price and the more open code; uplads adds a bulk launcher, Snapchat and LinkedIn, rules on all five networks and a daily spending ceiling for every assistant.
Pipeboard has built a lean, well-documented way to let an assistant read and change ad accounts, and its free plan makes the first test cost nothing. uplads starts from the other end: a launcher and Ads Manager that a media team runs every day, with the assistant working inside it. New ads wait as a draft until a person launches them, rules watch five networks overnight, and no assistant can raise the day's spend past the ceiling the owner set. For a team that ships creatives in bulk and wants an assistant without handing it the budget, uplads is the stronger pick.
