The usual AI copy workflow is a chatbot in one tab and Ads Manager in another: prompt, copy, paste, reformat, repeat per ad. It works for three ads and collapses at thirty. The copy step belongs where the ads are actually built - in the launch flow, with the account's context already loaded.

uplads generates ad copy at the exact moment you need it: on the text step of a bulk launch, for the batch or for each creative individually. This page covers what it writes, what context it uses, and where its limits are.

What it writes

For Meta - Facebook and Instagram - the generator produces the three text fields an ad actually carries: primary text, headline and description, up to five variants of each. You pick how many you want per field, from zero to five. For TikTok launches it writes captions in TikTok's native register, not Facebook copy squeezed into a caption field.

Every variant lands in an editable field, not in a locked preview. You rewrite, trim or discard before anything enters the launch - and the launch itself follows the usual uplads behavior: ads are created paused unless you decide otherwise, so generated copy is never live without a human having read it.

Context that persists per ad account

The context system

Generation starts from your account, not a blank prompt.

Brand voice per account

Save the tone once per ad account. Client voices never mix.

Website brief

Pull product, audience, pain points and value proposition from a URL.

Brief reuse

The latest saved brief pre-fills the next generation for that account.

9 languages

Native ad register per language, saved default per account.

Vision per creative

Images are read visually; copy references what the ad shows.

Your key or ours

Included AI credits, or your own OpenAI or Anthropic key.

The two pieces that do the heavy lifting:

  • Brand voice is a per-ad-account setting. An agency running eight client accounts keeps eight distinct voices, and the copy for account A can never drift into account B's tone.
  • The website brief is scraped once from a URL you give it - product, audience, pain points, value proposition - saved to the account, and pre-filled into the next generation. You edit it like any text field; the scrape is a starting point, not an oracle.

That is deliberately not a "brand brain." It is a voice and a brief, visible and editable. You always see exactly what context the model received.

Per-creative mode: copy that matches the visual

Batch copy is fine when every ad in the launch sells the same angle. It breaks when the batch is twenty different creatives - a UGC clip, a product flat-lay, a testimonial card - and they all get the same generic paragraph.

Per-creative flow

Twenty creatives, twenty matching texts, one run.

01

Select creatives

Pick up to 20 creatives from the launch batch. Each one is processed separately.

02

Vision reads each image

Image creatives are analyzed visually - the product, the scene, the mood in that specific file.

03

Copy lands per tile

Each creative gets its own primary text, headline and description, shown as chips on its tile.

04

You edit, then launch

Every text stays editable. A creative's copy becomes independent the moment you touch it.

One honest boundary: video creatives are not frame-analyzed in the current build. For videos, the generator works from the saved brief and the filename - which is why disciplined naming conventions quietly improve video copy too.

Nine languages, native register

Copy generation supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Greek. The instruction to the model is explicit about register: German social-ad German, not word-by-word translated English; TikTok captions in the natural TikTok voice of that language. The default language is saved per account, so a Polish client's account generates Polish by default without re-selecting it every launch.

Where it ends

uplads writes ad copy. It does not generate images or video - the creative assets are yours, and the bulk launch workflow exists to get them live in volume. And generated copy is not a performance guarantee: what it removes is the mechanical cost of producing five clean variants per field across a 50-ad launch, so testing copy angles stops being the bottleneck. Which angles actually won is what the creative report tells you afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

What does the AI ad copy generator write?

For Meta ads it writes primary text, headlines and descriptions - up to five variants per field. For TikTok it writes captions in the platform's native register. Every variant is editable before it enters the launch; nothing is published without your review.

How does uplads keep the copy on-brand?

You save a brand voice per ad account, and uplads can pull a brief from your website - product, audience, pain points and value proposition - so each generation starts with real context instead of a blank prompt. Client accounts never share context.

Can the AI write copy that matches a specific creative?

Yes. In per-creative mode, images are analyzed visually so the copy references the product, scene or mood actually shown in that file. You can generate copy for up to 20 selected creatives in one run, each processed separately. Videos currently use the saved brief and filename rather than frame analysis.

Which languages does it support?

Nine: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Greek. The model writes in the natural ad register of the requested language - German social-ad German, not translated English. Your default language is saved per account.

Do I need my own OpenAI or Anthropic API key?

No. Every plan and the 7-day trial include uplads AI credits. If you prefer, you can connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic key - then the provider bills you directly, no uplads credits are used, and the key is stored encrypted server-side.

Does uplads also generate the images or videos?

No. uplads writes ad copy; the visual assets are yours. That is a deliberate scope choice - the creative is where your brand lives, and the copy is the part that scales mechanically across a 50-ad launch.
