An Instagram ads bulk launch has one job: turn a folder of finished creatives into live Instagram ads without the manual rebuild in between. That is the entire reason uplads exists. Instagram runs on the Meta ad system, so the surface where ads go live - Feed, Reels, Stories, Explore - is decided by the ad set you already configured. The slow part was never the targeting. It is the ad creation: a weekly creative test of five product angles, three audience cuts, and a Reels and a Feed cut of each is fifty ads, and built one by one in Ads Manager that eats most of a Monday.

Instagram makes that worse than Facebook, because the inventory is split hard by aspect ratio: a 9×16 cut for Reels and Stories, a 4×5 cut for Feed. Done manually, every concept becomes two or three near-duplicate ads to build, name, and reconcile in reporting. I built uplads because our agency's "duplicate this ad set ten times, then rebuild the vertical" workflow had grown into a Notion page of macros too embarrassing to keep maintaining for client accounts.

What the bulk launcher does

Everything between finished creative and live Instagram campaign.

Bulk creative drop

Drag 200+ Instagram images and videos in one session. Files upload directly to secure cloud storage and are fingerprinted, so the same file is never uploaded twice.

One creative, every ad set

Pick a creative and every ad set it belongs in. uplads fans it across all of them in one pass - no duplicating ad sets, no copy-paste in Ads Manager.

Reels + Feed in one ad

A 9×16 Reels and Stories cut and a 4×5 Feed cut of the same concept become a single ad that serves the right ratio per Instagram surface.

Naming applied at launch

A token-based naming convention is stamped on every Instagram ad as it is created. Clean reporting from day one, no post-launch renaming.

Reels-ready video support

Video is a first-class creative type, so Reels and Stories video bulk launch the same way static Feed creatives do.

One bad ad won't kill it

If one creative is rejected on a policy hit, it stays a single failed row. The rest of the launch still goes live.

The third card is the Instagram-specific lever. On Facebook the placement spread is gentler; on Instagram, Reels and Stories are vertical-only and Feed is not, so manual launching means rebuilding the same concept per surface. uplads groups those cuts into one ad with placement-aware asset rules, so a single ad serves the 9×16 in Reels and Stories and the 4×5 in Feed. Facebook and Instagram share the same Meta system, so this launch also covers Facebook placements: the Meta ads platform overview frames the umbrella, and the Facebook ads bulk tool page is the Facebook-side view of the same workflow.

What an Instagram ads bulk launch actually does

It removes the gap between a finished creative folder and a live Instagram campaign. A bulk launcher is not a strategy product and not a reporting product - it is the launcher that sits where the manual rebuild used to be. You bring the creatives and the plan; it does the duplicating, the renaming, the Reels-versus-Feed aspect juggling, and the ad-by-ad clicking in one pass instead of a few hundred.

That narrow scope is deliberate. uplads is not a campaign-management suite, an attribution stack, or an AI bidding layer - stapling those together is what makes the generalist ad tools heavy and the native Ads Manager slow. If your week is shipping dozens of new Instagram ad variants and the launch itself is the bottleneck, that is the problem this tool removes. For the upload step in depth, see the bulk upload feature page; for the placement-grouping mechanics, the multi-placement feature page.

Where your Instagram ads actually run

Worth being precise here, because over-promising a placement picker is how these tools mislead. uplads has no Instagram placement selector, and it should not: Instagram is a delivery surface of the Meta ad system, and placement lives at the ad set level. uplads launches into the ad sets you already configured. If an ad set targets Instagram Feed, Reels, Stories, and Explore - or uses Advantage+ placements across Facebook and Instagram - that is exactly where the ads run. uplads removes the bulk ad creation work, not your targeting decisions.

One ad account per launch is the other honest boundary. uplads is built for teams that manage multiple ad accounts: you connect as many as your plan allows, and a single launch targets one ad account and fans your creatives across every ad set you select inside it. You switch accounts between launches, not within one - the per-plan ad-account count on the pricing page scales with your client roster, not a per-launch multiplier.

The flow

From a folder of creatives to live Instagram ads.

01

Connect your Meta account

Sign in once. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Every connected ad account becomes selectable in any future launch.

02

Drop your creatives

Drag 50-200 Instagram images and Reels videos into the browser. Each file is fingerprinted and uploaded directly to secure cloud storage.

03

Pick the ad sets

Choose one ad account and every ad set the launch should hit. One creative can go into all of them. Instagram placement is inherited from each ad set.

04

Pick a naming template

Compose a template from tokens. It is applied to every ad at creation time, so reporting is clean immediately.

05

Hit launch and walk away

A background worker creates the ads 50 at a time. Per-ad failures stay isolated; progress reports into a single live view.

There is no second tool, no manual renaming pass afterward, and no spreadsheet to babysit. The launch you configure is the launch that ships, and a rejected creative is one red row among the green ones rather than a broken campaign.

How it compares to launching Instagram ads by hand

The realistic alternatives are the native Ads Manager, Meta's bulk import spreadsheet, and the generalist ad platforms that treat launching as a side feature next to automation rules and analytics. The trade-off they share: the mechanical launch work is either fully manual or buried under a heavier product you are also paying for.

Why this exists

On Instagram, every concept is at least two ads: a vertical cut for Reels and Stories, a Feed cut, sometimes a square for Explore. A five-angle weekly test is fifty ads before you have done anything clever. Nobody on a performance team should spend Monday morning rebuilding the same Reel by hand.

Thomas Danninger · Founder, uplads

uplads picks the narrow lane on purpose. If shipping dozens of new Instagram ad variants every week is your job and the launch itself is the bottleneck, that is the work this tool removes - and nothing else. For a deeper side-by-side with the native surface, see the Meta Ads Manager alternatives page.

Frequently asked questions

Connect your Meta account once, drag 50-200 creatives into the browser, pick the ad sets in one ad account, pick a naming template, and hit launch. uplads fans every creative across every ad set you selected and a background worker creates the ads 50 at a time. Instagram delivery is inherited from each ad set: if the ad set is set to run on Instagram Feed, Reels, Stories, or Explore, the ads you launch run there. A weekly creative test that took roughly four hours of manual building in Ads Manager finishes in about twelve minutes (uplads internal benchmark, May 2026).
