How to track launch progress and read results
Last updated June 10, 2026
When you confirm a launch, uplads doesn't just fire and forget. The final step of the bulk launch wizard shows live progress as each creative is uploaded to Meta and turned into ads, then lands on a summary you can act on. This article walks through what you see at each stage.
Watching upload → processing → creating ads in real time
After you press Confirm & Launch on the final step, the screen moves through a few phases:
- Starting launch — uplads validates your selection, saves the launch, and queues the work. This is usually quick (a few seconds).
- Launch in progress — a Progress card appears with a colored progress bar and a list of every creative in the launch.
- Launch complete — once every ad has either succeeded or failed, the screen switches to the results summary.
The progress view refreshes itself every few seconds, so you can watch ads being created without reloading the page.
Per-creative status: queued, uploading, processing, live, failed
Each creative in your launch gets its own row showing where it is in the pipeline. A spinner means the creative is still being worked on; a colored dot means it has reached a final state. The labels you'll see are:
- Queued… — the creative is waiting its turn in the worker.
- Uploading… / Uploading video… — the file is being sent from uplads to Meta.
- Meta is processing the video… — Meta is transcoding the video. This can take a few minutes for larger or higher-resolution videos, so don't be alarmed if a row sits here for a while.
- Creating ads… — the creative is now being turned into ads in each of your selected ad sets.
- live (green dot) — every ad for that creative was created successfully.
- partly live (amber dot) — the creative succeeded in some ad sets but failed in others.
- failed (red dot) — no ads were created for that creative.
One creative fans out across all the ad sets you targeted, so a single row represents every ad built from that file.
Why uploads continue even if you leave the page
The heavy lifting runs in a background worker, not in your browser. Once the launch is queued, Meta uploads and ad creation keep going on uplads' servers whether or not the tab stays open. You can safely:
- Switch to another tab or app.
- Close the launch screen and come back later.
- Open the Launch Details page (covered below) to keep watching from there.
To save resources, the live progress poller pauses while the tab is hidden and resumes the moment you return — but the launch itself never stops. If you reopen the wizard or the details page, uplads picks the progress back up from wherever Meta actually is.
Reading the final X created / Y failed summary
When the launch finishes, the card shows a headline result:
- A green check with All ads launched successfully! when nothing failed.
- An orange icon with Launch completed with errors when some ads failed.
Below that, a single line reads X succeeded, Y failed so you know exactly how many ads made it onto Meta. From this screen you can:
- Retry failed (N) — re-run only the ads that failed, without touching the ones already live.
- View launch details — open the full per-ad audit log (see below).
- Open in Meta Ads Manager — jump straight to the launched ad sets inside Meta.
- Start another launch — reset the wizard for your next batch.

Opening the Launch Details page for the full audit log
Click View launch details to open the Launch Details page for that launch. It gives you everything the summary can't fit:
- A Progress bar plus at-a-glance counts: how many distinct ads you launched, how many ad sets they ran into, and how many are live on Meta.
- The launch's status badge (running, completed, partial, failed, or cancelled) and the exact time it was created.
- An Ad Items table listing every ad, with its ad name, source creative file, target ad set, status, a direct Open link into Meta Ads Manager, and the precise error message for anything that failed.
If a launch is still running, the details page polls live and shows a Cancel launch button. For finished launches with failures, you'll find Retry failed and Retry all buttons here too. This page is the source of truth when you need to diagnose exactly why a particular ad didn't go live.
