Why don't my launched ads appear in Meta Ads Manager?
Last updated June 10, 2026
If uplads shows your launch as complete but you can't find the ads in Meta Ads Manager, the ads almost always exist — they're just not where (or how) you're looking. uplads creates ads by calling Meta's API directly, so once a launch item reports success, the ad already lives in your Meta account. This guide walks through the usual reasons it looks "missing" and how to confirm everything is fine.
First: Meta processing and propagation delay
When uplads reports a successful launch, it has received an ad ID back from Meta for each ad. But Meta still needs a short window to index those ads into the Ads Manager UI and finish its own review.
- Indexing lag. A freshly created ad can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to show up in the Ads Manager list view, even though it already exists.
- Review status. New ads enter Meta's "In review" state before they can deliver. This is normal and happens on Meta's side, not in uplads.
- Video transcoding. If your creative was a video, Meta transcodes it asynchronously after upload. uplads waits for the video to finish processing before creating the ad, so by the time the ad exists, the media is ready — but the ad still goes through review afterward.
If it's been less than a few minutes, simply wait and refresh Meta Ads Manager.
Check the ad status: PAUSED vs. ACTIVE
A common surprise is that the ads are there but paused, so they don't appear under a default "Active" filter in Ads Manager.
uplads creates each ad with the status you chose on the launch step:
- If you set the launch to go out paused, every ad is created in a paused state and will not deliver until you (or a schedule) activate it.
- If you set it to active, the ads are created live but still must clear Meta's review before they start spending.
In Meta Ads Manager, make sure your status filter isn't hiding paused ads. Switch the filter to All (rather than Active) so paused and in-review ads are visible. If you scheduled the launch to activate at a future time, the ads will stay paused until that moment arrives — see How to set ad status and schedule a launch.
Confirm the right ad account and date range
If the ads still aren't showing, you're very likely looking at the wrong view in Meta:
- Ad account. Make sure the ad account selected in the top-left of Ads Manager matches the account uplads launched into. If you manage multiple accounts, it's easy to land on the wrong one.
- Date range. Ads Manager only lists entities whose activity falls inside the selected reporting window. Set the date range to Today (or Maximum) so newly created ads with no spend yet aren't filtered out.
- Campaign and ad set. Your ads were created inside the specific ad sets you targeted. If you're filtered to a different campaign, you won't see them.
The fastest way to avoid all of this is to let uplads take you straight to the right place — read on.
Verify in the Launch Details page
The Launch Details page is the source of truth for what uplads actually did. Open the launch from your launches list to see a per-ad breakdown.
On this page:
- The Progress card shows a live count of how many ads are live on Meta — these are items that succeeded and came back with a Meta ad ID.
- The Ad Items table lists every ad, its Status badge (
success, pending, orfailed), the ad set it was created in, and a Meta column. - In the Meta column, a successful ad shows an Open link that deep-links to that exact ad in Meta Ads Manager — pre-filtered to the correct account and ad. If a row shows only an ID or a dash, that ad hasn't completed yet.
- The Open in Meta Ads Manager button near the status badge jumps to this launch's campaign in Ads Manager with the right account already selected.
Using these links removes any guesswork about account, campaign, or filters — they take you to precisely the ads uplads created.
If a row shows failed with an error message instead, the ad genuinely wasn't created, and that's a different problem. See Why did my launch fail and how do I fix it? and Ad set limits and common Meta errors explained.
Refresh to re-sync effective status
While a launch is still running, uplads polls Meta and updates the Launch Details page automatically every few seconds. Once the launch reaches a terminal state, the page refreshes itself to pull in the final results.
If you've been staring at a stale tab:
- Reload the Launch Details page in uplads to pull the latest per-item statuses.
- In Meta Ads Manager, click its own refresh control (or reload the page) so Meta re-fetches the effective status of your newly created ads.
- Give Meta a couple of minutes between refreshes — its effective-status indexing isn't instant.
If, after all this, the Launch Details page shows ads as success with Meta ad IDs but Ads Manager still shows nothing after 15–20 minutes on the correct account and an "All status / Maximum date" view, that's worth escalating — but it's rare. In nearly every case the ads are present and simply filtered out of view.
