TikTok account won't connect
Last updated June 13, 2026
If connecting TikTok fails or no advertisers show up, work through these.
"Authorization failed" or you're bounced back with an error
- Make sure you're logged into the TikTok for Business account that owns (or has admin access to) the advertiser accounts — not a personal TikTok login.
- Try again from Configuration → Connections → Connect TikTok. The authorization link is single-use and expires after a few minutes.
Connected, but no advertiser accounts appear
- Your TikTok login must have a role on at least one advertiser account in TikTok Business Center. Ask the account owner to add you, then reconnect.
- After being granted access, click Reauthorize on the TikTok card so uplads refreshes the advertiser list.
"TikTok connection not found" when launching
- The connection was removed or the token was cleared. Reconnect from Configuration → Connections.
- Only workspace owners (or members with configuration-edit permission) can connect or disconnect integrations.
Ads fail with a permissions error
- The connected app needs Ads Management and Creative Management scopes. Reconnect and make sure all requested permissions are approved on TikTok's consent screen.
Still stuck? Reach out and include the advertiser account id you're trying to launch into.
