What is uplads and how does it work?
Last updated June 10, 2026
uplads is a bulk ad launch platform. Instead of building ads one at a time in Meta Ads Manager, you upload your creatives once and launch them across many ad sets in a single guided flow — with AI-written copy, consistent ad naming, and a full ads manager to optimize after launch. This page explains what uplads does and how the pieces fit together.
What uplads does
The core idea: upload creatives once, launch in bulk. You select a batch of images or videos, choose where they should run, and uplads creates the matching ads across every ad set you picked — all at once. Behind the scenes it downloads each creative, uploads it to Meta, builds the ad creative, and creates the ads in batches, so launching 30 ads takes the same effort as launching one.
Today uplads launches to Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Google Ads and TikTok are on the roadmap.
Core concepts
A few building blocks show up throughout the app:
- Workspace — your team's shared account. You can invite teammates and assign roles. See user roles and permissions.
- Ad accounts — your connected Meta ad accounts. A selector at the top of the app switches between them; everything you do (launches, the ads manager, naming) is scoped to the active account.
- Media library — where your uploaded creatives live, so you can reuse them across launches. See upload creatives to the media library.
- Launch wizard — the 5-step flow at
/launchfor building and shipping a batch of ads. - Ads manager — a Meta-style table at
/ads-managerfor browsing, editing, and optimizing everything you've launched.
Where your connected tools fit in
uplads connects to several services, each with a clear job:
- Meta — the destination. You must connect a Meta account before you can launch. See connect your Meta account.
- Google Drive and Dropbox — import creatives straight from cloud storage into your media library. See import from Google Drive and import from Dropbox.
- Slack and ClickUp — get launch and rule notifications where your team already works. See connect Slack and connect ClickUp.
The 5-step launch wizard at a glance
Every launch moves through the same five steps, shown as a progress indicator at the top of the wizard:
- Creatives — pick the images or videos for this launch (from your library, your computer, or an existing ad / creator post to relaunch).
- Targeting — choose the Page, campaign, and ad sets the ads should run in.
- Text — write your primary text, headlines, URL, and call-to-action, or generate copy with AI.
- Review — check the resolved ad names and settings before anything ships to Meta.
- Launch — set ad status, optionally schedule, and fire the launch. Progress is tracked live.
A couple of steps adapt to what you're doing: when you relaunch an existing ad or build a partnership / Spark ad, the Text step is skipped because the original copy or the creator's post is reused. Your progress also auto-saves, so a refresh won't lose your work — see how drafts auto-save and resume.

What you need before you start
The one hard prerequisite is a connected Meta account — the wizard asks you to select an ad account before it will start a launch. Once that's in place, you're ready to go.
Start with the quickstart: launch your first ads, then connect Meta if you haven't already.
