Privacy notice for contacted businesses
Last updated: September 9, 2026
1. Why you are reading this
You are on this page because we contacted you about uplads, or because you found the link in an email or message from us. We did not get your details from you, so Art. 14 GDPR requires us to tell you what we hold, where it came from and what you can do about it.
2. Controller
replient.ai Software GmbH
Derflerstraße 27/1
4040 Lichtenberg, Austria
FN 671718 x, Regional Court of Linz
Contact for data protection: Markus Danninger, office@uplads.com
We are not required to appoint a data protection officer under Art. 37 GDPR. Requests reach the contact above.
3. What we hold
- Business contact data: name, role, business email address, company, website, country.
- Publicly visible business signals: whether the company runs ads, on which platforms, and public profile or page names.
- Our own record of the contact: which message was sent when, whether it was opened, whether you replied, and any note we made from your answer.
We do not hold special categories of data about you, and we do not build a profile of you as a private person.
4. Where the data came from
- The Meta Ad Library, which shows publicly which advertisers run ads.
- Public company websites, including their imprint and contact pages.
- Apollo.io, a business contact database.
- AnyMailFinder, a service that finds and verifies business email addresses.
- Public Instagram profiles and public interactions with our own posts.
5. Why we process it and on what basis
We process your business contact data to introduce uplads to companies that run online ads, and to keep track of who we already wrote to so we do not write twice. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in direct marketing towards businesses, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We weighed that interest against yours: we contact you in your professional role and at a business address, about a product for the work your company visibly does, we say who we are in every message, and one reply ends it permanently. We do not contact private individuals.
6. How long we keep it
We delete the contact record 12 months after the last contact, unless a business relationship starts in the meantime, in which case the privacy policy applies. If you object, we delete the record right away and keep only the minimum needed to make sure you are not contacted again (your email address on a suppression list).
7. Who receives it
The service providers that run our mail and our systems: our email delivery provider, our hosting and database providers, and our internal tooling. They are listed with their function and location at uplads.com/subprocessors. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to other advertisers.
8. Your right to object
You can object at any time, without giving reasons and at no cost beyond the transmission cost. Reply to our message with a single word, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or write to office@uplads.com. We then stop immediately and make sure you are not contacted again.
9. Your other rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Write to office@uplads.com and we will answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is:
