How to view the audit log of workspace changes
Last updated June 10, 2026
The Audit Log is your workspace's running record of who did what and when. Every write action — new launches, relaunches, bulk edits, rule runs, deletes, catalog and settings changes — is appended here so you can trace a change back to the person and moment it happened.
Opening the Audit Log page
You'll find Audit Log in the left-hand navigation. The page lists the most recent 200 events across your whole workspace, newest first.
Access is restricted, since the log spans everyone's activity:
- Workspace owners can always open it.
- Team members need either the Team Management permission or Configuration (view) permission — the same access that gates the Configuration and Team pages.
If you don't have one of those, the Audit Log is hidden and the page redirects you back to the dashboard. To grant a teammate access, see Understanding user roles and permissions and How to edit or remove a team member's access.
Filtering the log
A filter bar sits above the table. Set any combination of filters and click Apply (or Reset to clear everything):
- Action — pick a specific action type from the dropdown, such as Launch (new), Bulk budget edit, Rule created, Delete entities or Naming convention saved. Leave it on All actions to see everything.
- Ad account — narrow to a single ad account, or leave on All accounts. The picker lists every account your workspace can see, even ones with no events yet.
- From / To — pick a start and end date. The To date is inclusive — it covers the whole day, right up to the last second.
Filters are reflected in the page URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view (for example, all bulk edits on one ad account last week).
Seeing who and when
Each row answers the basics at a glance:
- When — a friendly relative time like 5m ago or 3d ago. Hover over it to see the exact date and time.
- Who — the email of the teammate who performed the action. Your own actions show as you.
- Action — a plain-language label for what happened.
- Resource — what the action touched, e.g. 3 ads or campaign.
- Ad account — the account the action affected (see below).
- Status — a badge showing success, partial, or failed.
Expanding a row for details
Click any row (or its chevron) to expand it. The detail panel shows:
- Error message — if the action failed or partially failed, the exact error is shown in red. This is the fastest way to understand a failed or partial launch or bulk edit without leaving the page.
- Details — a structured snapshot of what changed (the fields, values, or IDs involved), shown as readable JSON.
If there's nothing extra to show, you'll see No additional details. For diagnosing failed launches specifically, pair this with Why did my launch fail and how do I fix it?.
Identifying which ad account an action affected
The Ad account column names the account each action ran against — handy when you manage several accounts and need to confirm a bulk change or delete hit the right one. Actions that aren't tied to a specific account (some workspace-level settings, for example) show a dash. To focus on one account, use the Ad account filter described above.
